Malmaison Manchester – PMJs latest on-going project

PMJ Masonry’s latest on-going project sees us working closely with GMI construction (not for the first time), on a 7-story hotel development found at the heart of Manchester City Center, facing directly, the historic Manchester Town Hall. 

Leeds Beckett University – Update

Construction is nearing completion at Leeds Beckett University, where PMJ Masonry are tasked with installing Portuguese Limestone to the external facade of the building.

Excitement Builds As Lancaster Works Continue For PMJ Masonry

Working for the first time with Eric Wright Construction, PMJ Masonry are now halfway through our project at Caton Court, Lancaster, supplying and installing a Brickwork and Stone Package for private student accommodation.
Work is progressing well despite the challenges with the weather, and it is sure to be an eye-catching finished building once construction is completed this summer.

Full Internal Stone Package To Be Completed By PMJ Masonry

PMJ Masonry are excited to announce that we have been chosen to complete the full internal stone works for the Al Emaan Mosque in Sheffield.
After a highly successful exterior supply and installation of black granite curved window surrounds, curved and block faced Darney Sandstone and a beautiful red Locharbriggs Sandstone again both curved and block faced, PMJ Masonry were the preferred natural stone specialists by the Al-Emaan Trust and Al Samarraie of Archi-Structure Architects to complete the intricate internal package.

PMJ Masonry Secures Prestigious Leeds Beckett Project

PMJ Masonry are proud to announce that we have secured the handset natural stone package for the new £80 million Creative Arts Building at Leeds Beckett University. This project will be the first undertaken by PMJ Masonry with George Downing Construction. The iconic building has been designed by architects Hawkins/Brown.
The state-of-the-art facility will be home to the university’s School of Film, Music and Performing Arts, plus the fashion department.

Meadow View Scoops Further Award

More brilliant news for PMJ Masonry! Meadow View Care Centre has been awarded the RIBAJ MacEwen Award Winner for 2018, adding to it already large awards cabinet! 
The £8 million Meadow View Care Centre was externally cladded with natural stone sourced locally by PMJ Masonry. The project consisted of Ashlar Sandstone cladding with long runs of facia/soffits and capping features.
This is one of two care centres that PMJ Masonry having been working on with Balfour Beatty Construction for Derbyshire County Council.

Latest Update – Bath Street

Our Bath Street – Leicester project is progressing ahead of schedule and as you can see from the pictures, the finished new build will look magnificent!
The contrasting limestone colours along with the intricate detailing sections showcase the true beauty of Natural Stone.

Welcome to our brand new website! We hope that you enjoy browsing! It’s the start of a brand new year and a very busy one it will be! Our current projects our progressing very well and have now all resumed after the Christmas break. Let’s hope that the poor weather we have experienced recently doesn’t hamper our perfectly running schedules!
On an even more exciting note, PMJ Masonry now has the ability to undertake architectural design along side our stone detailing expertise. This will allow us to offer a complete design incumbering all aspects of the build.

Higgs Centre for Innovation – Edinburgh

The Higgs Centre for Innovation will support start-up businesses with the aim of creating new market opportunities, especially in big data and space technologies. The Centre is funded through a £10.7 million investment from the UK Government. The Science and Technology Facilities Council will invest £2 million over five years to operate the centre.
PMJ Masonry is proud to have worked on this project with GRAHAM Construction for the first time and it is clear to see that the final result will be a beautiful building.
